Many people, when they hear the words yard birds, think of mockingbirds, blue jays, or prisoners.  I however, have the distinct pleasure of living directly across and without view of the Indian River.  Despite the fact that the rows of fences and houses completely block the view out, I get the bounty of wildlife daily in my front yard.  Among the most unusual of yardbirds are these two which have been appearing daily:

Little Blue Heron

Cooper's Hawk

On a normal day it’s mostly just these:

White Ibis

and occasionally these:

Eastern Pheobe

Just to name a few..

I have a really cool yard.. it’s time I spend more time in it~

What do you see in your yard that might not be so common anywhere else?
