Today, we went up to the First United Methodist Church here in Cocoa Beach and helped unload pumpkins for the annual pumpkin patch. You don’t realize how many exactly there are until you realize they filled the back of a semi-truck.
The kids all had a great time, some unloaded little pumpkins from boxes and some helped with the big pumpkins. Mostly though, they just spent their time rolling down the hill.
The pumpkin patch benefits the FUMC Child and Adult Care Center. Both are wonderful assets for our community.
The pumpkin patch is open daily from 9:30-7:30 Monday to Saturday and 12-7:30 on Sunday Starting 10/14 and right on through the day of Halloween.
